The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division has taken action against 45 vehicles not carrying two drivers on long distance in public vehicles. The team of Superintendent has taken action against the driver of the public vehicle who has not been forced to take two drivers in a long distance. According to the Superintendent of Police and Inspector General of Police, Basanta Panta, the provisions of the Transport Law Act, 1949, the operation has been taken to ensure that the two drivers should be kept in a long distance.
The directorate had arrangements for watching long-distance driver, bus number and departure time on the Internet’s server. According to the said apps, the road accident will be reduced. The apps were brought in the first phase in Naagdhunga of Kathmandu, the state No. 5 of Kohalpur and Sarlahi of the State No. 2.
